My God, is there anything more lazy in our discourse than the constant overuse of sports metaphors in conversation? I swear I think I'm going to flatten the next person who uses the term "slam dunk" when they mean certain.
I'm in your corner on this one, ready to take of the gloves and go the distance with you. Let's get the ball rolling and put on a full court press! As long as we can keep our eye on the ball we'll have them on the ropes in no time!
