Must See Mosque TeeVee - Jon Stewart exposes FOX News' Islamic terrorist ties.
1."Extremist Makeover Homeland Edition" (VIDEO) &
2."The Parent Company Trap" (VIDEO) (A follow-up that makes one wonder whether Stewart's writers have infiltrated Murdoch's Empire and are generating the satire from within.)
In successive nights, The Daily Show produced no doubt the most devastating take-down of the absurdity, dishonesty and perfidy of the clown show known as "FOX News" ever mounted - implicating several prominent Bush administration PR flaks to boot. Kudos to America's Most Trusted Newsman, Jon Stewart.
Oh hell, split the difference, Fox is evil AND stupid...

_______________
I afraid you risk being sucked into the vortex of the new roman circus, the one Fellini warned.
It is the "Daily SHOW"? "America's Most Trusted Newsman" is a standup comic?
Step back and taste the words for a moment. Does anything here suggest that politics, national policy or the like, is being reduced to entertainment?
Has the parody of the most trusted news replaced the reality of the news itself?
In another sense hasn't this just devolved to tribal affiliation? The policies really don't matter...win a war, lose a war, so what?...citizenship is being part of an audience..and if you are enjoying what you see then you have "no doubt" obviously switched on the correct channel.
Glad you enjoy. Stay tuned.

Point taken.
It was not my intent to pile on.

I don't "risk" being sucked into the vortex - I have been buried by it. I can no longer "see" what The World's Most Trusted Political Scientist - Frederico Fellini - prophesied, lo so many decades ago. I am of it.
(Life must be very strangely lived indeed with no sense of irony...)

Thanks reg. In light of what you just wrote...
I'll sleep better tonite knowing that Randy Paul's admonishment was unwarranted....
and sometimes.. in those black & white films from Italy... when we see a steam locomotive entering a tunnel we can know that the filmakers intent was simply to show a train and a tunnel as a trope to breakup a kiss.
Trainspotting italian style.
Remember, no matter how far you run, you can never get away from yourself.

I'll get back to reading your comments after I've watched - and re-watched - eight or so hours of MSNBC and Comedy Central.

In the aftermath of the triumph of liberalism comes a blackbird singing in the dead of night:
"FOX "News" destroyed..."
Now comes the inevitable interdependence of dualism; how good can only be measured in terms of evil.. but here is the brave new world where evil has been vanquished and we are faced with the very end of history:
" I've watched - and re-watched - eight or so hours of MSNBC and Comedy Central. "
Why slap the corpse?
Whatever could they possibly say...it's over!
