Found a breath of fresh air over at Business Week's "Working Parents" blog, by Cathy Arnst.
Money quote:
Let’s park our ideologies at the door and talk facts for the moment. Fact number one: The United States rations health care now, and anyone who doesn’t think that’s true has never come into contact with the medical system—or is very, very rich. But we ration on an ad hoc basis, with little to no honesty around the process.
Read the whole piece - it's excellent in addressing the realities involved in any discussion of health care rationing.
And if I dont like my insurance coverage with one company, I go somewhere else. Where do I go if I want to cancel the government's insurance?

You don't believe that's a real argument in relation to the Obama plan, do you ? The real question now is, where do you go if you have a pre-existing condition and you want to buy coverage ?
I'm sorry but it's hard to take the "conservative" responses to health care reform seriously.
