As appealing as this may be to some - myself included - it will probably have very little impact in the short term:

"Not to cling to office?!?!" He's been jefe for nearly fifty years. He must be speaking in geologic time.
Maybe if we measure in Friedman Units? Or, maybe if we took the logarithm of time?
