Doctors Involved in Torture

Jeralyn Merritt has a link to an article by David Lifton in The New England Journal of Medicine about doctors complicit in the torture of prisoners at Abu Ghraib.

This would certainly not be the first time that allegations of doctors being complicit in torture and in some cases, serving to facilitate torture. Brazil has recently had the medical licenses of some doctors revoked for assisting in torture during the country's 21 year military dictatorship. Read the article. Any doctor who has been complicit in torture deserves nothing less than the loss of their license to practice medicine.
