You don't believe me? Consider the following:
He sings about San Francisco. I lived in San Francisco. He grew up in Astoria, Queens. I lived in Astoria, Queens. He is a painter. I once dated a painter He recorded two albums with Bill Evans. I have twelve CD's by Bill Evans. My employer represents songwriters. He has recorded songs by many of those songwriters. He performed at a tribute to Harold Arlen in 1986. I attended that tribute (in a duet with Lena Horne, he was the one who sang Stormy Weather). I've been in the same room with him at least 10 times. I dine periodically at Sirabella's. I have seen him dine periodically at Sirabella's.
Lest you have any doubts, "There clearly was a relationship. It's been testified to. The evidence is overwhelming."
I think the Bush Administration would find a link between Sadaam and AQ if they had a 5th hand rumor that a AQ operative farted across the border into Iraq.

farting in the general direction of iraq clearly counts as employing a wmd, especially after eating beer and cabbage, and if such a thing did happen it could damage the environment because bush did not sign off on the kyoto protocols.

I just like to point out that Britan and Natzi Germany had a very strong, incredibly well documented, relationship throughout WWII ... They were enemies.
If Cheney (and Bush) want to claim that Iraq had something to do with a terrorist threat to the US, they need to provide some evidence of it. Relationship, contact, ties, and all the other words being bandied around are meaningless.
I think Cheney actually claimed that Iraq and Al Qaeda were "allies". I'd love to see the evidence of that. Seriously, I'd feel much better about being an American just now if they were actually allies.

Al quada trained in American flight schools, there are al quada terrorists in US right now. Conclusive proof that Jesus W. Bush has terrorists connections.

I have a similar relationship with both Carl Sigman (who passed on about 5 years ago) and John Doe (of the band "X"). Although I doubt they ever met each other.
