As for me, if anyone on my side of the political spectrum still believes that Hugo Chávez is a man of unimpeachable integrity, bear in mind that his government was investing in a company making proprietary software for electronic voting and this voting according to the electoral council, would have not an independent audit, nor would it leave a paper trail. The company, Bizta, has agreed to buy back its shares from the Venezuelan government.
If it's wrong to have this type of electronic voting here without a paper trail, then it's certainly wrong in Venezuela.
